Skills and Achievements
In my long career in IT, I've worked in various positions in both international corporations and small startup I partnered for several years before becoming an entrepreneur. I specialize in Information Security and have worked especially in Identity and Access Management domain for the last 15 years. I'm used to working in multinational work environments and using English as my working language.
Information Security
As a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, I can cover all the domains of information security. “Security first” is my approach to everything. I have worked as a CISO and steered our company ISO27k certification process.
Identity and Access Management
Identity and Access Management (IAM) has been my bread and butter for the last +15 years. I've spent my days helping the customers with their IAM problems for both cloud and on-premise.
Enterprise Architecture
I have been designing and implementing enterprise solutions for 20 years. Samples of the solutions I have designed and implemented:
- Authentication platform currently used by millions of users
- The APIs and microservices I have designed and implemented are the backbone of the customer’s identity and access management
- Self-registration solution to fully automate the trainee enrollment process saving +200 man days of work annually
Software Development
I have written all kinds software components and solutions during the last 25 years. Mostly in Java but also in some other programming languages like Groovy, Go, Perl etc. At Oracle I spent years debugging and finding problems and bugs in the products and I'm very skilled in doing root cause analysis on the problems.
Containerization and Serverless
The application and enterprise architecture trends are moving more and more to decentralized microservices and APIs. The modern applications are often ran in containers and orchestrated using orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. I have years of experience in designing and developing containerized solutions and in one of my recent assignments I moved the customer's on-premise authentication solution to fully containerized environments on Kubernetes.
